Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator plays a key support role within the sales team, helping to streamline daily operations and improve overall efficiency. This position works closely with sales, leadership, and cross-functional teams to manage administrative tasks, coordinate order processes, support customer communications, and ensure timelines are met. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while providing reliable support to both the sales team and company leadership.

Requirements:

  • Help the sales team improve productivity by completing administrative tasks (uploading information to customer portals/systems, item setup and creation for retailers, UPC/EAN setup and submission to clients, etc.)
  • Assist company owners with daily functions and provide office support as needed
  • Assist the sales team with order submission forms, costing templates, new customer forms, and new client onboarding
  • Assist sales with customer communications when they are unavailable, including answering customer inquiries and informing them of delays
  • Assist the team with shipping sample requests to customers
  • Unpack samples when needed and assist in organizing the showroom and new seasonal collections
  • Assist the sales team in preparing for sales meetings as needed
  • Verify purchase orders and advise customers of any required adjustments
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales and deliveries are handled effectively
  • Assist sales with order follow-ups across departments, production timelines, and shipping deadlines
  • Assist sales with any advertising, marketing, or e-commerce sample requests to be sent to customers
  • Develop and maintain systems to track sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information when requested by sales and management
  • Knowledge of the market (store visits/competitive shopping) is required

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in sales, sales support, or coordination
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer literacy, especially in Excel
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines

Work Environment:

  • Office located in Lachine
  • Standard business hours
