Job Description

We are hiring bilingual (French/English) local residents in Saguenay, Quebec to assist with a short-term community outreach and research project.

Interviewers will conduct short, face-to-face interviews with residents to collect feedback about local community activities and opinions.

This is a flexible, short-term, part-time contract role ideal for friendly, reliable individuals who enjoy engaging with people in their community.

Pay:

$20.00 – 30.00 per hour (CAD)

Responsibilities

  • Politely approach and engage with residents in public areas.
  • Conduct short interviews and record responses on a mobile form.
  • Follow training instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Submit brief daily updates and photos through a digital app or form.

Requirements

  • Must live in or near Saguenay, QC.
  • Fluent in French (English is an asset).
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable talking with the public.
  • Have a smartphone or tablet with Internet access.

  • Training provided before fieldwork.
  • Mileage reimbursement available.
  • All work is local — no travel outside Saguenay required.

Nous recherchons des résidents locaux bilingues (français/anglais) à Saguenay (Québec) pour participer à un projet de recherche communautaire à court terme.

Le rôle consiste à réaliser de courts entretiens en personne avec des résidents afin de recueillir leurs opinions sur la vie communautaire et les activités locales.

Ce poste à temps partiel et sous contrat convient aux personnes fiables, sociables et à l'aise pour interagir avec le public.

Responsabilités

  • Approcher et engager poliment les résidents dans les lieux publics.
  • Mener de courts entretiens et enregistrer les réponses sur un formulaire numérique.
  • Suivre les instructions de formation et les consignes de sécurité.
  • Soumettre des mises à jour quotidiennes et des photos via une application ou un formulaire numérique.

Exigences

  • Résider à Saguenay (QC) ou dans les environs.
  • Maîtriser le français (l'anglais est un atout).
  • Être fiable, professionnel(le) et à l'aise pour parler avec le public.
  • Posséder un téléphone intelligent ou une tablette avec accès Internet.
