Job Overview
As our Resort Membership Executive, you will be at the heart of an exciting period of growth and development at Rudding Park. You will manage all aspects of membership - from enquiries and show-rounds to renewals and events - while helping shape how our membership offering evolves to support new projects and initiatives across the resort.
This is a role for someone who thrives on building genuine connections, spotting opportunities, and bringing creative ideas to life. You will play a key part in making sure our members feel valued and engaged, while contributing to the wider growth and future vision of Rudding Park.
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience in membership sales, hospitality, or a customer service role.
- Excellent organisational skills, outstanding written, telephone, and service skills, and proactive approach.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships
- Accounts experience specifically in direct debits and reconciliation.
- Exposure to cross-departmental collaboration, ideally within a resort or hotel environment.
Working Pattern
- 8.30am until 5pm, occasionally weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
Membership & Administration
- Keep membership accounts organised and accurate, ready for statements, renewals, and payment runs.
- Manage Direct Debits and BACS files to ensure payments run smoothly.
- Maintain all membership documentation, including contracts, health forms, and agreements.
- Keep our systems up to date, ensuring every membership profile is accurate.
- Produce monthly debtor reports and follow up on any outstanding payments.
Sales & Communication
- Respond to all membership and enquiry emails with warmth, clarity, and efficiency.
- Manage the diary for appointments and host engaging show-rounds that bring the Rudding Park experience to life.
- Create fresh ideas and campaigns to attract new members across Spa, Golf, and Holiday Park.
- Work closely with Marketing to produce and manage marketing materials - from newsletters, to website pages, to our member's apps.
- Handle renewals across all membership categories, ensuring the process feels seamless.
Innovation & Engagement
- Spot new trends and develop exciting membership concepts that keep Rudding Park ahead of the curve.
- Help organise and host memorable member events and experiences that add value and build community.
- Seek out new business opportunities and generate leads through follow-ups, referrals, and relationship building.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with all resort departments to ensure the member experience is consistent and exceptional.
- Be the first point of contact for member feedback, ensuring it's handled with care and communicated to the right teams.
- Lead by example with confident communication, excellent phone manner, and genuine service.
Standards & Service
- Deliver outstanding service and take ownership of the member journey.
- Proactively resolve any challenges and look for ways to make processes smoother.
- Support a culture of "sales through service" - spotting ways to enhance both the guest experience and revenue.
- Take special care of our VIP members, ensuring every interaction feels personal.
- Monitor feedback through reviews, reports, and mystery visits to keep standards sky high.

About Rudding Park
A privately-owned luxury hotel, Rudding Park has 90 bedrooms and suites, a destination spa, three restaurants and a kitchen garden, private cinema, two golf courses and meetings and events venue.
