Join Our Team as a Global Customer Manager Epiroc

Your overall mission is to safeguard that Epiroc continuously gains market shares in the segments we operate, being recognized as a market leader and operate with the profitability the Epiroc Group expects.

As a Global Customer Manager your mission is to maximize our share of spend and profitability across the entire Epiroc portfolio, strengthen strategic relationships with selected customers, and align our business planning to our customers. Ensuring internal collaboration, satisfaction and customer centricity is a defining measurement of success for this role.

Principal Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • High focus on SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) in all we do.
  • Respects and live up to the values of Epiroc.
  • Contribute to a customer centric culture, act as the voice of the customer and take ownership and responsibility for increased win rate.
  • Effectively engage internally across Divisions and Customer Centers to develop solutions for current and future customer challenges.
  • Move from reactive work to become strategic and pro-active.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships, built on integrity and trust.
  • Contribute as a key member of the Global Customer Relationship team.

Growth:

  • Create a long-term strategy and execution plan for your customers, and align it with divisional objectives and planning.
  • Deliver a high quality 3-year Customer growth plan (down to site level) for your customers that are aligned with division targets and the Customer Centers' Territory Management Plans.
  • For key strategic deals create a must win plan in close collaboration with the respective division and customer center with follow up to execution and successful commercial outcomes.
  • Act as a conductor of business and relationships and be responsible for global customer business planning and strategy.

Operational Excellence:

  • Deliver business updates for your customers to the VP of GCR, General Managers and Division presidents (and others as required).
  • Hold customer (all sites) accountable to global or local agreement(s).
  • Manage internal and external engagement plans specific to the selected customers.
  • Develop market intelligence and competitor follow-up to become a part of daily working.
  • Effectively collaborate, coordinate and communicate across divisions and Customer Centres to present one voice to the customer

Market Development:

  • Ensure that Epiroc will be the market leader with your clients in new technology consisting of automation, digitalization and electrification.
  • Strategically introduce customers to new technology/services/consumables and attachments.
  • Include new technologies, digitalization, sustainable offering and acquisitions.

Reporting Relationship:

  • Reports Directly to the VP for Global Customer Relationships.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ten years of prior commercial experience (Sales, Marketing or Procurement) within the mining and or construction industry.
  • Good technical understanding of drill, load and haul equipment used in both surface and underground mining.
  • Experience working in or with large global mining companies or OEM's.
  • Capable of building and sustaining strong external and internal relationships.
  • Ability to work in a global and diverse team and capable of traveling internationally, sometimes at short notice.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills and a demonstrated collaborative approach to achieving results.
  • English and Portuguese language proficiency would be held in high regard.

Expected Compensation Range: CAD 165,491.00 – CAD 224,393.00, based on salary, potential/historic bonuses for position, and any other wage compensation.
