Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our residential property in Kelowna. The ideal candidate will handle leasing, finances, vendor coordination and tenant relationships to ensure both tenant satisfaction and owner profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Tenant Relations & Leasing

  • Market properties and show vacant units
  • Screen applicants: background and credit checks
  • Handle lease execution, renewals, terminations
  • Collect rent, manage delinquencies, enforce lease terms

Facility Maintenance & Inspections

  • Work with Maintenance Manager on repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Coordinate vendors for landscaping, security, and janitorial services
  • Conduct regular property inspections and manage work orders

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage property budgets
  • Monitor income and expenses
  • Generate financial and occupancy reports for owners

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure properties comply with health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Manage insurance coverage, claims, and risk mitigation
  • Enforce tenant compliance, handling lease violations or evictions

Customer Service & Dispute Resolution

  • Serve as tenant liaison for concerns or disputes
  • Provide prompt responses and resolution to tenant requests or complaints

Qualifications:

  • Education – High school diploma required, degree in business, real estate or related field preferred
  • Certification – Certified Property Manager, RPA or equivalent
  • Experience – 2-5 years in property management or related role
  • Strong knowledge of property management software (Yardi and Rent Café)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with local building codes and landlord-tenant laws
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting

Working Conditions

· Full-time, on-site presence required

· Occasional evenings/weekends

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary Range - $65,000-$75,000 depending on level of experience

· Extended Medical and Dental

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
