Manager, FP&A

Introduction

Our client is one of the top global luxury hospitality companies, renowned for its iconic hotels and resorts and a culture of exceptional guest service and operational excellence.

They are looking for a Manager, FP&A & Analytics who is a strategic finance leader who turns data into clear, actionable insights for executives and business leaders. This role owns core planning cycles, performance reporting, and analytics products that guide investment, resource allocation, and transformation decisions. You will work in a modern, data-driven finance organization that is investing heavily in tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365, OneStream, Power BI, Databricks, and Informatica.

What you'll do

• Act as a trusted partner to senior finance and business leaders, providing clear recommendations based on financial performance, KPIs, and trends.
• ​Lead budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment, transparency, and strong storytelling for executive audiences.
• Build executive-ready reports, presentations, and dashboards that simplify complex data and highlight risks, opportunities, and scenarios.
• Lead the design and delivery of analytics products and dashboards in partnership with Finance, Data, Analytics, and Technology teams.
• Shape and manage the finance analytics roadmap, prioritize projects, and drive end-to-end execution and adoption.
• Champion new technologies (AI, predictive analytics, automation) to improve forecasting, scenario planning, and self-service reporting.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data models and compliance with data governance standards; resolve data issues quickly and transparently.
• Educate business users on how to use financial and analytics tools effectively and responsibly.
• Manage and mentor analysts, building a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
• Drive accountability, clarity of responsibilities, and continuous improvement across Finance and cross-functional partners

What you bring

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A or relevant consulting, with a track record of building and driving adoption of analytics to support decision-making.
• Strong experience with financial planning and ERP systems, and working with complex financial and operational data models.
• CPA designation preferred; other financial certifications are an asset.
• MBA or Master's degree in Analytics or another quantitative field is preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Power Platform skills, plus strong experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for dashboards and insight generation.
• Comfort with modern data platforms, data lakes, and concepts in data engineering, BI, and machine learning.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL, R, Python, and data governance frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics is an asset

Reporting & work environment

• Reports to the Director / Senior Director, Financial Insights & Analytics (Senior Finance Leader).
• Leads and mentors FP&A and analytics resources; may start with project-based or dotted-line leadership and grow into formal people management.
• Hybrid, matrixed environment with close collaboration across Finance, Data & Analytics, Technology, and business teams.
• Occasional travel and extended hours during key planning and reporting cycles as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON
