Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Your creativity and expertise in hair styling will help clients look and feel their best. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hairstyles and products.
  • Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and managing client records.
  • Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance the client experience.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products through continuous education.

Requirements

  • Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
  • Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others look their best.
  • Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an emphasis on upselling services and products.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices related to hair styling tools and equipment.
