Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.This role reports to an assigned Shift Supervisor in the Mine Operations Department.What you will do:Support safe and efficient achievement of production targets through operation of underground mining equipmentManual labor including clean-up/shoveling, scaling, bolting, operating equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, piling materials, adding and reclaiming hardware, hanging cables, installing line brattice for ventilation, setting up extensible belts, and other duties as requiredWork safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in placeParticipate in safety meetings and inspections in compliance with all Nutrien procedures and policiesShift work of days/nights and weekendsWhat you will bring:Grade 12 Diploma or GEDStable work recordWillingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through trainingAbility to interact positively with co-workers and supervisorsAbility to work safely and effectively in a labour-intensive team environment, as well as independentlyGood communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsInitiative in both safety and performance objectivesSkills in documentation and electronic reporting would be an assetAbility to adapt and utilize modern technology in documentation and use of machineryPrevious experience in an industrial environment is an assetReady to make an impact with us?
