Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where maintaining safety is paramount.

Duties

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
  • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
  • Enforce company policies and security procedures to ensure a safe environment
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information as needed
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents
  • Conduct loss prevention activities to minimize theft or damage

Experience

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or potential threats
  • Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $17.20-$26.62 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
