DESCRIPTION
Inatech (a subsidiary of Valsoft) is seeking a dynamic, data-driven, and strategic Head of Marketing to lead the company's global marketing strategy across the energy, oil & gas, and commodities sectors. The role will be pivotal in shaping brand positioning, driving lead generation, supporting enterprise sales growth, and enhancing market visibility for Inatech's suite of intelligent cloud-based energy trading risk management (ETRM) and fuel management solutions. This is a fully remote leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO, and working closely with the Head of Business Development and Product teams.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to position Inatech as a global leader in the energy and commodities software market. The role involves brand building, demand generation, digital marketing, content strategy, and market intelligence to support enterprise sales and product growth.
You will work cross-functionally to align marketing initiatives with sales, product, and corporate objectives — creating a unified go-to-market approach that drives visibility, engagement, and pipeline growth.
RequirementsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute Inatech's global marketing strategy in alignment with business goals and sales objectives.
- Position Inatech as a thought leader in ETRM, marine fuel management, and energy technology segments.
- Partner with the CEO and sales leadership to shape go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
Brand & Communications
- Strengthen the company's global brand identity through consistent messaging and visual representation.
- Oversee corporate communications, public relations, and digital presence across all channels.
- Manage media relationships and coordinate industry event participation, webinars, and speaking engagements.
Demand Generation & Digital Marketing
- Drive inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns across digital platforms (LinkedIn, Google, industry portals, etc.).
- Optimize marketing funnels and lead-nurturing processes in collaboration with sales.
- Manage marketing automation tools and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Content & Product Marketing
- Lead content development — case studies, whitepapers, blogs, videos, and customer success stories.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex software oƯerings into market-relevant value propositions.
- Develop sales enablement assets (pitch decks, solution briefs, demos, etc.) for the global sales team.
Market Intelligence & Analytics
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to guide pricing, positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
- Define key marketing KPIs and use data-driven insights to continuously improve performance.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing global marketing team with expertise across content, digital, and communications.
- Manage external agencies, creative vendors, and PR partners to deliver measurable outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- (Strong) experience in the energy, oil & gas, commodities, or trading technologysectors.
- Proven ability to build and scale marketing programs that drive enterprise software sales.
- Demonstrated success in demand generation, brand management, and digital marketing in a global setting.
- Hands-on experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Exceptional storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-border sales and product teams.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- A good understanding of the downstream oil business and related software markets.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort using metrics to inform strategy.
- Experience organizing or representing brands at global energy and trading conferences.
- Creative, self-driven, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
