Stone Fabricator/Installer for Marble, Granite, Quartz and Porcelain Countertops.

Dauter Stone Inc. is seeking an experienced Stone Fabricator/Polisher/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stone fabrication/polishing/installation, with a keen eye for detail & a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.

The successful applicant will be required to perform the following functions:

- Reading of Shop work orders, usage of basic measuring devices, familiarity of natural stone fabrication tools and techniques or other comparable construction methods.

  • Abilities to Install fabricated pieces into customer residences
  • Abilities to Fabricate by hand and to match CNC Machining Standards should the need arise.
  • Strong Communication with our Team.
  • Safely Handle and Fabricate Granite, Quartzite, Quartz, Marble, and Porcelain to the highest quality standards.

Must possess and be able to demonstrate the following requirements:

- Demonstrate Safety Awareness on a continual basis.

- Time Management Skills.

- Basic Math and Measuring Skills.

- Eye for Detail.

- Team Player Skillsets.

- Solid Verbal and Written Communication Skills.

- Organizational Skills.

Responsibilities:

-Interpret drawings and specifications for stone fabrication

  • Installation of fabricated pieces to company standards

    -Operate hand tools and power equipment for cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials

    -Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards

    -Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools

    -Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:

-2+ years of experience in stone fabrication and installation

-Ability to read and interpret drawings & specifications

-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$31.42 per hour
