About The Role
Under the supervision of the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the month-end closing process, performing accounts reconciliations and analysis and supporting the team for reporting financial statements to Management. The financial analyst is also responsible for supporting the implementation of internal controls.

What You'll Do Here

• Support month end process and reconciliations within deadlines and procedures;
• Prepare monthly analysis of consolidated and non-consolidated balance sheet and income statement accounts;
• Update monthly continuity schedules;
• Prepare journal entries for multiple entities;
• Participate in monthly financial and management reporting;
• Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve mismatches;
• Develop new analysis to ensure accuracy of data
• Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP
• Develop and maintain accurate process documentation
• Ensure internal controls are applied as documented
• Assist in the preparation of financial information for external auditors
• Support business partners in providing financial information or analysis as needed
• Special projects and other various queries

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one
• Experience in audit is a strong asset
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Workday is an asset
• Good analytical and problems solving skills
• Good knowledge of accounting standards for private companies (ASPE)
• Good organizational skills, management of priorities and respect of deadlines
• Ability to perform in an evolutive and dynamic environment
• Natural propensity for teamwork
• Positive attitude, oriented towards continuous improvement
• Good communication skills in French and English (written and oral)
