Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in a full-time, remote role.

The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and assessing credit applications, analyzing financial data, and determining creditworthiness in accordance with company policies and industry standards. The role also involves assisting mortgage brokers with documentation, managing follow-ups, and maintaining strong communication with clients and lending partners.

This position requires a high level of independence, strong collaboration with partners and clients, and a service-driven mindset. A key focus will be finalizing files efficiently and accurately, with a strong sense of urgency.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Credit Management and thorough knowledge of credit policies and procedures
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret financial data and trends effectively
  • Outstanding Communication skills for interacting with clients, internal teams, banks and brockers
  • Proficiency in Finance and understanding of fundamental financial principles
  • Foundational knowledge and expertise in Credit assessment and analysis
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and decision-making skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AMF) are a plus
  • Experience in the mortgage industry or related financial sectors is preferred
  • Work from remote location or from home a possibility.
