Capco is looking for talented, innovative and creative people to join our incredible and growing Team focused on our financial services clients. We are looking for experienced talent exceptional domain expertise who can work directly with our clients on mission-critical projects.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant to support the strategy and execution of a major cost optimization program for a leading financial services client. This role will primarily focus on partnering with Finance stakeholders to develop a baseline cost model that projects future costs, identifies cost pressures, and demonstrates the impact of the program on these costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage workstreams or engagements, ensuring clear planning, execution, and stakeholder management

  • Collaborate closely with Finance and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive baseline cost model

  • Analyze company financials to identify trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to cost optimization

  • Develop and present key materials and reports for executive audiences, both written and verbal

  • Apply a structured and entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving, working independently and as part of a broader team

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proven experience leading strategy engagements or workstreams, particularly in the financial services sector

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives

  • Basic financial modelling expertise and the ability to interpret company financial statements

  • Demonstrated ability to think entrepreneurially and solve problems independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A structured and analytical approach to complex business challenges
