The Opportunity

We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor (Part-time) to join our Front Office team. This role is responsible for balancing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. You'll be the face of the hotel at night, ensuring guest safety, operational accuracy, and a seamless transition into the morning shift.

What You'll Do:

Perform nightly audit procedures, balancing daily hotel revenue and preparing end-of-day reports

Reconcile all payments, room charges, and financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail

Complete system backups and reset procedures in accordance with company standards

Professionally check guests in and out during overnight hours

Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints with care and professionalism

Monitor hotel security, conduct property walks, and ensure a safe overnight environment

Prepare and organize the Front Desk for the morning shift

Communicate clearly with management regarding any issues, discrepancies, or overnight incidents

Maintain a clean, organized Front Desk and lobby area throughout the shift

In markets where applicable, you will also be required to set up the breakfast buffet and tables, help serve and take care of breakfast, and follow HACCP standards.

What We're Looking For:

Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience is an asset, but not required

Strong computer skills; experience with a Property Management System (PMS) is an asset

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks

Calm, reliable, and professional demeanor during overnight hours

Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
