Job Summary
:

The
Web Developer
will join the Digital Tagging Solutions team, supporting analytics implementation across multiple digital and mobile platforms within a large financial services environment. This role focuses on
web development and digital analytics
, translating business requirements into technical analytics solutions while supporting enterprise-scale tagging, measurement strategies, and data-driven customer experiences.

Role & Department Overview
:

Digital Tagging Solutions is responsible for analytics implementation in a fast-paced environment supporting digital and mobile platforms across multiple lines of business in Canada and the U.S. The team manages and integrates a comprehensive analytics stack including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Launch, Adobe Mobile Services, and Ensighten, extracting business and customer value through advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
:

• Collaborate with digital stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and measurement strategies for digital and mobile customer journeys.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for custom analytics implementations using data layers, processing rules, SAINT classifications, report suite configuration, custom JavaScript, JSON, and system integrations.
• Manage daily operations and implementation of analytics platforms including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Launch, Adobe Mobile Services, Ensighten, and third-party marketing tags (e.g., Google Analytics, Rakuten, Facebook).
• Develop and maintain implementation documentation such as Solution Design Requirements (SDR), data layer specifications, and custom JavaScript documentation.
• Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of technical coding (HTML, JavaScript, ActionScript) through tag management systems.
• Partner with technology teams to guide analytics implementations, troubleshoot issues, manage data feeds, and support integrations.
• Stay current on Adobe and Ensighten product updates and best practices, proactively updating implementations and communicating changes.
• Provide consultative support, training, and validation assistance to QA and testing teams.

Required Experience
:

• 2+ years of web development experience.
• 1+ year of analytics experience, preferably in digital environments.

Required Skills
:

• JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular
• Digital analytics implementation
• Strong understanding of JSON structures and best practices

Preferred Skills
:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Time management and ability to work across multiple initiatives
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
:

• Experience with tag management tools (DTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, Ensighten)
• Knowledge of Adobe Analytics processing rules, SAINT classifications, report suite configuration, and data feeds
• Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics certifications
• Computer Science degree
