Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, accessible websites, encompassing both front-end and back-end development. Day-to-day tasks include coding, implementing user-friendly web designs, ensuring website functionality and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize web accessibility features. The role requires staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming
- Expertise in Front-End Development, Web Design, and creating user-friendly interfaces
- A strong foundation in Web Development concepts, tools, and methodologies
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG, ARIA, and Section 508 is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
