Welder/Fabricator

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Location: Millhaven, ON

Overview:

Our client is known for delivering high-quality workmanship, exceptional service, competitive rates, and reliable turnaround times. They are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team and support ongoing production needs while maintaining their strong reputation for excellence.

Main Duties:

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements, measurements, and materials.

Prepare, set up, and operate welding and fabrication equipment as needed for assigned tasks.

Perform MIG and TIG welding on a range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and steel.

Grind, smooth, and finish metal parts to meet quality standards.

Handle multiple projects with tight deadlines, including fabrication and onsite installations.

Conduct routine safety inspections and perform basic maintenance on tools and machinery.

Follow all company safety rules and comply with Ontario OHSA regulations.

Work collaboratively with the team to maintain efficiency and meet production goals.

Keep the workspace neat, organized, and safe.

Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in welding or fabrication.

Strong skills in SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding for structural steel applications.

Experience working with ironworking and metal fabrication tools.

Ability to understand blueprints and accurately follow work instructions.

High level of precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Dependable, flexible, and capable of working independently or with a team.

Familiarity with safe work procedures, machine guarding, and use of PPE.
