Insurance Service Specialist

We are hiring an Insurance Service Specialist to support our growing client base and service team.
This role is ideal for someone who:
Enjoys working with people
- Is comfortable on the phone
- Works well in a structured, fast-paced office
- Takes feedback well and follows through
You may already be licensed, or you may be willing to obtain your license — both are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle client service requests (policy changes, renewals support, follow-ups)
- Make outbound and inbound client calls (this is a call-first role)
- Provide timely, professional responses to clients
- Accurately document all client interactions
- Support sales advisors with follow-ups and information gathering
- Assist with claims status checks when requested
- Maintain clean, up-to-date client records and permissions

- Clients feel taken care of and informed
- Requests are handled promptly and correctly
- Files are complete and well documented
- Tasks are followed through without repeated reminders
- You work independently while knowing when to ask for help

- Some technical aptitude, guide clients through some new technology
Nice to have (but not required):
- Insurance experience or licensing
- Office or customer service background
- Familiarity with personal or commercial insurance
We care more about fit, attitude, and execution than knowing everything on day one.
Licensing
- If you are already licensed in Ontario: great.
- If not, you must be willing to work toward licensing within a reasonable timeframe (support provided).
Progress toward licensing will be expected and tracked.
