An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Baker/Pastry Cook to join our team at Oretta King West.

About The Role

What we are looking for:

We are looking for Part-time Pastry Cook to work 4 days a week and to join our King St West location. You will report to our Head Chef and Sous Chefs. Following recipes with skill and consistency, we are looking for Pastry Cooks with Baking and Proofing well as Pastry production experience for our Italian Desserts and pastries that are made from scratch.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pastry prep kitchen or Bakery, has an availability (30 hours min a week- 4 shifts) and is reliable with a strong work ethic. Following recipes with skill, speed, and consistency is imperative. A love for Italian baking is an asset. Ability to work primarily early mornings and daytime shifts, as well as weekends, and holidays.

We cannot accommodate anyone on a 20-24 hour limit- you must be available a minimum of 30 hours.

You MUST be able to reliably commute to arrive for 5am shifts.

We undergo multiple menu changes (Lunch/Dinner/Aperitivo/Brunch) as well as our Oretta Caffe menu items and require a Pastry Cook to assist with preparing pastries at high par levels for the needs of the location.
