Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant studio team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for body art, exceptional artistic skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role involves designing and applying custom tattoos while ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for clients. The Tattoo Artist will also engage with clients to understand their vision, offer consultations, and deliver high-quality artwork that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized tattoo designs that align with their vision and preferences.
  • Prepare clients by explaining the tattoo process, aftercare instructions, and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate tattoo equipment safely and hygienically, adhering to all sanitation standards and health regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile workspace at all times to ensure client safety and comfort.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, walk-in clients, and maintain accurate client records.
  • Promote additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or nail care when appropriate.
  • Engage in retail sales by recommending aftercare products or other studio offerings to enhance client experience.
  • Provide excellent guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Participate in studio marketing efforts including product demos or social media content creation to showcase artwork and attract new clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their desired designs.
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures, sterilization practices, and health regulations related to body art.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to create a positive experience for clients.
  • Skills in retail sales, upselling, and product demonstrations are preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with related beauty services such as body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or nail care is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30,000.00-$137,113.75 per year
