Full Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Tattoo Artist to join our team at Flying Shield Tattoo. As a Tattoo Artist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and provide exceptional tattoo services to our clients. If you have a passion for artistry, excellent customer service skills, and a strong portfolio, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the cleaning of the studio and other common areas (a shared responsibilities with all artists)
  • Consult with clients to understand their tattoo design preferences and provide expert advice
  • Create custom tattoo designs based on client specifications
  • Perform tattoo application using sterilized equipment and following proper safety and sanitation protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Provide aftercare instructions to clients to ensure proper healing of tattoos
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
  • Collaborate with other artists and staff members to create a positive and professional work environment
  • Take professional photos of work to be showcased on the Flying Shield Tattoo social media pages
  • Help in maintaining your bookings using our scheduling software

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience
  • Strong portfolio
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Clientelle
  • High standards
  • Cleanliness

Skills:

  • Excellent guest services skills to provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for clients
  • Strong artistic skills with the ability to create unique and visually appealing tattoo designs
  • Knowledge and implementation of proper sanitation practices to maintain a safe, clean and sterile working environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients to understand their desired tattoo design
  • Experience in retail sales or hospitality is a plus but not a requirement
