Job Summary

We are looking for a licensed Funeral Director (Class 1) to join our team in Brantford. We are also accepting Class 2 Funeral Directors and licensed Transfer Service Sales Representatives. This role is ideal for directors who enjoy arranging services and guiding families through the entire process, from first contact to final disposition. You'll be working in a fast-paced, supportive team environment, focusing on direct cremation services while providing compassionate care to families.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange and coordinate funeral services from start to finish
  • Guide and support families with empathy and professionalism throughout the process
  • Manage administrative duties, including documentation, permits, and scheduling
  • Assist with transportation and transfers as required
  • Maintain compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company standards
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment, prioritizing tasks effectively while providing high-quality service
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive client experience

Qualifications

  • Valid Funeral Director license (Class 1) is required. Newly licensed is okay. Also accepting Funeral Director Class 2 and Transfer Service Sales Representatives
  • Comfortable completing online arrangements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to use software such as Adobe and Word and familiarity with Google Workspace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00-$68,000.00 per year

  • Funeral Director Class 1, Class 2 or TSSR license (preferred)
