Medical Laboratory Technologist - Leading Healthcare Provider

AMK Global Staffing is working with a leading healthcare provider dedicated to high-quality medical services and patient safety & committed to enhancing patient care through consistently high-quality laboratory and imaging services.

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform essential lab procedures, including haematology, chemistry, and transfusion medicine, under the supervision of the Supervisor or delegate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct analytical procedures as per established policies and SOPs.
  • Collect, receive, prepare, and process laboratory samples.
  • Perform maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
  • Enter, retrieve, and store information related to sample analysis.
  • Review quality control results and troubleshoot issues.
  • Relay test results to healthcare providers and support staff.
Qualifications:
  • CSMLS certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
  • Graduation from a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Recent core lab courses or one year of related experience within the last six years.
Skills:
  • Effective communication with patients, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge of core lab testing, techniques, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment and computerised information systems.
