About the Role

VoxCell is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to support daily bioprinting operations. This is a highly practical, lab-based role focused on operating bioprinting equipment and producing tissue constructs according to established protocols.

This position requires spending most of the workday in the laboratory environment performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable with routine lab work, follows protocols precisely, and enjoys consistency and structure in their daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities


• Experience in production and quality control settings


• Operate custom bioprinting equipment to produce 3D tissue constructs following established protocols


• Perform repetitive, production-focused lab tasks with high attention to detail


• Prepare materials, reagents, and consumables required for daily printing activities


• Monitor printing processes and report deviations or issues to senior lab staff


• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of lab workspaces


• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards consistently


• Accurately document work completed, batch records, and basic observations


• Support day-to-day lab operations to ensure reliable and timely tissue production

Qualifications


• Previous hands-on laboratory experience in an academic, industrial, or applied lab setting


• Comfort working full-time in a lab environment performing repetitive tasks


• Ability to follow detailed protocols and instructions consistently


• Strong attention to detail and manual precision


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained


• Technologist diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics engineering, or related field

Compensation

Base Salary: CAD $52,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience
