Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures etc.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and document potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, explaining and documenting repair recommendations
  • Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred (Red Seal licensed)
  • Customer-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Have your own tools to do the work
  • Experience completing DVI's (digital vehicle inspections)

*The right candidate must possess a valid Alberta driver's license and be able to provide a current driver abstract.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sylvan Lake, AB T4S 1P4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • automotive technician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver's License (required)
  • Journeyman licence (required)
