This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Job Description

The Senior Analyst acts as a key partner to stakeholders, building trust and supporting their audience and data-analysis needs in order to drive more data-informed decisions. This role involves not only technical and analytical expertise, but also relationship management and tactical support skills, with the aim of creating a direct impact on the performance of various initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and make relevant audience recommendations to support the marketing, revenue and product teams in meeting their tactical activation needs.

  • Create and maintain audiences in data management platforms (CDP/DMP) and data clean rooms.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of audience trends and changes, and provide impact assessments based on traffic fluctuations.

  • Assist with marketing planning based on audience insights.

  • Work with sales teams to provide them with audience insights and recommendations so that they can develop more relevant proposals for clients.

  • Present your analysis and recommendations to a varied audience that may include product managers, strategists, marketing/communications managers and sales reps.

  • Produce and maintain dashboards with Power BI to provide standalone access to analysis results in an automated way.

  • Build and maintain long-term trust with stakeholders by being constantly attentive to their needs and providing them with tailored solutions.

  • Work with the Big Data team on data ingest and standardization initiatives and with the Data Synchronization team on data gathering.

  • Monitor changes in the data source structure that could impact our data gathering.

  • Produce ad hoc documentation to support teams (reports, presentations, Confluence documentation, etc.).

  • Ensuring strict adherence to privacy laws and policies.

What You Bring

  • Three or more years' experience in a similar role.

  • Proficient knowledge of at least one programming language associated with data analysis, ideally SQL or Python.

  • Good knowledge of a data visualization and modelling tool (e.g., Power BI, DAX).

  • Proficient knowledge of web analytics measurement tools (Google/Adobe Analytics and A/B test platforms).

  • Knowledge of advertising platforms (Google Ad Manager, Meta, etc.) an asset.

  • Expertise in marketing and Canadian media.
