We are an established Electrical Contracting company of 21 years looking for an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team

Your tasks as the Health & Safety Coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in implementation of Company's Certificate of Recognition (COR)
  • Manage 3rd party Health & Safety online platform
  • Manage Health & Safety Training of employees including new hires
  • Assist with Ministry of Labour and WSIB issues including injury claims
  • Attend Health & Safety Meetings of Construction Sites with multiple trades
  • Ensure staff compliance with all pertinent health & safety regulations
  • Gather and review all inspection reports and address corrective actions
  • Manage new project's specific health & safety requirements
  • Maintain current Health & Safety Program with knowledge and understanding of pertinent provincial and local statutes, regulations, by-laws, and standards
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, WSIB and policies
  • Keep track of First Aid Kit materials and inventory

We are looking for an individual with the following skills:

  • Great knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Word and Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Extensive organizational skills
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to qualify for Government Clearances

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
