Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient relocation of items for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience in moving or warehouse environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in logistics, heavy lifting, and customer service within a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, appliances, and other household or office items
  • Operate forklifts and other moving equipment as needed, following safety protocols
  • Assist clients with the moving process, providing excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and work areas
  • Follow safety guidelines at all times to prevent injuries or accidents during moves
  • Assist with warehouse duties including inventory management and equipment maintenance

Skills

  • Proven experience in moving or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
  • Excellent physical stamina and strength for demanding tasks
  • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively during moves.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
