Black Sheep Heavy Duty is a small, family-run shop that specializes in keeping heavy equipment running strong. We're looking for a Parts Technician to join our tight-knit crew and take full ownership of our parts department.

We are a growing company. This is a very busy department- you'll be managing inventory, ordering, shipping, and receiving. If you like autonomy, organization, and getting your hands a little dirty, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and track inventory levels for parts and supplies
  • Source and order parts from vendors in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments
  • Assist the Shipper/ Receiver with packaging and shipping parts as needed
  • Coordinate with our service team to ensure the right parts are on hand
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts area
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and team members

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and procurement processes effectively
  • Proficient in purchasing and sourcing to ensure optimal supply chain operations
  • Excellent customer service abilities to address client needs and inquiries
  • Mechanical knowledge to understand parts and components relevant to the industry
  • Familiarity with data entry and streamlining processes

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in a service role or mechanical background
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment or diesel parts
  • Great organizational skills and the ability to juggle tasks independently
  • Familiarity with Fullbay
