Black Sheep Heavy Duty is a small, family-run shop that specializes in keeping heavy equipment running strong. We’re looking for a **Parts Technician** to join our tight-knit crew and take full ownership of our parts department.
We are a growing company. This is a very busy department
- you’ll be managing **inventory, ordering, shipping, and receiving**. If you like autonomy, organization, and getting your hands a little dirty, you’ll feel right at home here.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Manage and track inventory levels for parts and supplies
- Source and order parts from vendors in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments
- Assist the Shipper/ Receiver with packaging and shipping parts as needed
- Coordinate with our service team to ensure the right parts are on hand
- Maintain a clean and organized parts area
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and team members
**Qualifications**:
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and procurement processes effectively
- Proficient in purchasing and sourcing to ensure optimal supply chain operations
- Excellent customer service abilities to address client needs and inquiries
- Mechanical knowledge to understand parts and components relevant to the industry
- Familiarity with data entry and streamlining processes
**Bonus Points For**:
- Experience in a service role or mechanical background
- Familiarity with heavy equipment or diesel parts
- Great organizational skills and the ability to juggle tasks independently
- Familiarity with Fullbay
