Job Description

The House of Commons hires students throughout the year for diverse opportunities in different service areas.

Being a student at the House of Commons is an extraordinary experience, blending academic learning with the fast-paced, dynamic environment of one of the world's most iconic political institutions. Qualifications

Education:

  • Current enrolment as a full-time student at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Asset:

  • Fluency in both official languages (English and French).

Eligibility criteria:

  • Minimum age of 16
  • Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid study permit (for international students)

Students are required to provide proof of enrolment during the hiring process.

These positions are located in Ottawa, Ontario and students are required to work on-site.
