Richelieu Hardware is looking for a
WAREHOUSE – MATERIAL HANDLER
for our
Ottawa, Ontario location.
This is a permanent full‑time position of 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday. The salary offered is $21.00 per hour.
As a warehouse attendant, your role will include executing product orders according to priority while ensuring that established quality standards are met. You will be required to use and take care of the equipment provided to you and ensure compliance with the warehouse's health and safety standards
More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to
:
- Forklift operator
- Shipping/receiving
- Prepare merchandise orders for shipment
- Pick orders in the aisles
- Pack orders
- Organize and classify products in the warehouse
- Manual warehouse work
- Teamwork
- Any other tasks related to the warehouse and merchandise inventory management
Requirements :
- Forklift experience, min one year
- Bilingual an asset (French English),
- Must be minimum fluent English
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (an asset).
- Have a minimum of one year of warehouse experience.
- Possess a valid forklift operator certification
