Experienced Graphic Deisgner

12 Creative is looking for a full time, in person Experienced Designer to join our team in Edmonton. You bring strong critical thinking skills, a proactive mindset, and a talent for solving visual problems with clarity and creativity. This role requires onsite work from our Edmonton office.

You will report to our design team lead and work both independently and collaboratively based on project needs. You have a sharp eye for detail, a desire to keep growing, and a solid understanding of branding. You are confident in creating refined, thoughtful design work, pushing creative boundaries, and staying current with trends. You produce high quality work on time, communicate clearly, stay organized, and adapt well in a fast paced environment. You are comfortable working under pressure while managing multiple projects at once.

The Role:

• Support and elevate our company wide visual strategy for internal and external communication

• Bring strong experience in branding and visual identity

• Build complete brand guideline systems that can scale

• Design full marketing campaigns from concept to execution

• Create print ready designs for marketing materials and signage

• Produce social media graphics that are engaging and on brand. Motion graphics experience is an asset

• Develop visually compelling materials for marketing, advertising, and digital platforms while following our brand guidelines

• Create design concepts for client print and online marketing assets

• Collaborate closely with the Manager, the creative team, and the marketing team

• Contribute ideas and creative thinking that support ongoing marketing initiatives

• Manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines as part of a fast moving creative team

• Deliver high quality design solutions that meet client goals and objectives

• Communicate with clients clearly and professionally

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Provide design insight and consultation to peers, management, and executives

• Work collaboratively with creative professionals to produce visual solutions that support business needs

• Keep design files and assets organized within established systems

• Support strategic communications and marketing planning along with the execution of creative initiatives

Who You Are:

• Have 3-5 years of experience at a creative agency or in-house brand team
• Advanced understanding of typography, grid, layout, and colour
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experienced in Figma
• Calm under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity
• Highly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter
• Clear and effective written and verbal communicator
• Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced design environment
• The ability to self manage and exercise stellar time-management skills
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in graphic design or related visual communication design field is required
• Experienced in UX/UI Design is an asset
• Motion Graphics and Animation experience is an asset
