The Role

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to help define the visual language, flow, and coherence of an early-stage product and website.

Your role is to translate ideas and words into interfaces that feel intuitive, grounded, and emotionally intelligent.

This is an opportunity to step into a venture designer mindset not just UI execution.

What You'll Own

  • Visual direction and UI system (early-stage)
  • Page and product flow (what goes where, and why)
  • Turning copy into layouts that feel natural and human
  • Wireframes → high-fidelity designs (web + product)
  • Consistency across screens as the product evolves
  • Helping define what "good" looks like for this brand
  • You'll have real influence early. This is not a handoff role.

Compensation (Please Read Carefully)

This role is structured as deferred payment:

  • $3,500 CAD, paid once funding is secured
  • Documented via a Deferred Compensation Agreement
  • Clear scope, no open-ended commitment

This is a conscious choice to keep the company lean and aligned early.

There is strong potential for:

paid ongoing work

full-time involvement

evolving into a venture designer role across multiple products

But this role is not about quick cash. It's about long-term upside, learning, and ownership of your craft.
