We're looking for our next Business Development Specialist
. Could It Be You?
The purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between initial interest and active engagement by proactively nurturing leads and providing expert guidance to prospective clients. By combining high-volume outreach with a consultative, customer-first approach, the Specialist empowers Canadians to take control of their financial futures, ensuring a seamless and educational onboarding experience that converts potential leads into loyal Questrade clients.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Helping Canadians become much more financially successful and secure
  • Interacting with customers through various communication channels, including phone, live chat & SMS, email and occasionally face-to-face / virtual meetings
  • High volume calling experience - making around 60+ calls a day
  • Making outbound calls to help nurture leads through the onboarding journey
  • Continuously providing a high level customer experience by demonstrating our We Care values during each customer interaction
  • Educating customers on Questrade's trading platforms, and our products and services
  • Educating customers on the different lines of businesses we offer
  • Receiving weekly/monthly coaching, mentoring, and training from Sales Team members
  • Participating and engaging in strategic sales initiatives, both for the department and for your respective team

? You are if you…

  • Required: 1+ years Business Development experience in a sales environment with a strong focus on putting the customer first
  • Desired: Strong communication skills and a quick learner
  • Desired: Knowledgeable and passionate about financial markets and investment products
  • Desired: Contact center experience, ideally in financial services (not required but nice to have)

Compensation Information:

  • Base salary: $40,000
  • The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
