A Day in the Life
As a Kérastase Technical Consultant, you will be a key ambassador for one of the world's most luxurious professional haircare brands. You will inspire and empower hairdressers and salon partners across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, sharing your expertise and elevating the client experience through exceptional education. Travail in this role is mandatory to deliver results (about 30-40% during launches and peak season).
Your main responsibilities will be organized into a few key areas:
- Inspire & Educate: Deliver best-in-class training and workshops on Kérastase rituals, product science, and advanced application techniques, both in-person and virtually.
- Drive Business Growth: Partner with the sales and marketing teams to build and execute education strategies that drive brand loyalty and achieve business goals within your territory.
- Elevate Brand Presence: Organize and lead high-touch educational events, from intimate salon trainings to larger seminars and new product launch demonstrations, representing the luxury and sophistication of Kérastase.
- Build Relationships: Act as a trusted partner and consultant to our salon clients, working collaboratively with sales, care coaches, part-time educators and other internal teams to ensure a seamless and premium brand experience.

You are a great match for this role if you have a deep appreciation for luxury haircare and a proven ability to inspire others. You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional presentation skills, and a strong background in the professional hairdressing industry.

Deep Hair Expertise:
Significant hands-on experience in a salon environment, with a mastery of professional hair treatments, styling, and client consultation.
- Presentation & Storytelling: The ability to command a room, captivate diverse audiences, and articulate the science and luxury of Kérastase with clarity and impact.
- Business Acumen: An understanding of the salon business and the ability to connect educational initiatives with commercial success.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and planning abilities to effectively manage a territory, schedule trainings, and execute events flawlessly.
- Agility & Collaboration: The capacity to work both independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required for travel.
