Job Overview

The Onsite Residence Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient property management. This onsite position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a keen understanding of property management practices.

The Residence Manager will live on the property and be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with residents, managing property maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. This role is ideal for someone who is community-oriented, organized, and dedicated to providing an exceptional living experience for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the residential property, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and responsiveness to resident needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to property management activities.
  • Implement sales strategies to promote available units and negotiate lease agreements with prospective tenants.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
  • Utilize Buildium property management software for efficient operations and reporting.

Skills

  • Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport with residents.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with residents and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to file documents accurately and maintain records efficiently.
  • Sales acumen with negotiation skills to effectively close lease agreements.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and administrative tasks related to property management.
