Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools
  • Operates overhead cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Weld, grind, and use pneumatic power tools
  • Operates any equipment needed to perform job
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition 
  • Analyze engineering drawings and build to print
  • Hitch rig, roll, flip and move large equipment
  • Load  trucks for shipping
  • Effectively communicate with others
  • Performs related duties as needed by supervision

Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum of high school education
  •  1 year of related factory experience
  • Skills in automotive, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry are transferable 

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand (approximately 90% of the time). 
  • The employee frequently is required to use hand to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance. 
  • The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 
  • The employee is frequently required to work from a ladder or platform.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. 
  • The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places. 
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
