Senior Site Reliability Enginiering Developer

A career as a Senior Developer in Site reliability Engineering (SRE) and Artificial Intelligence in the Cards and Credit risk API Platform team at National Bank means acting as an expert·in systems resilience and generative artificial intelligence integration. This position allows you to have a concrete impact on the performance and availability of our it services, thanks to your expertise in complex systems design, automation and DevSecOps practises.

Your job

• Design and maintain shared CI/CD pipelines to optimise software delivery.
• Promote resilience and stability best practises to application and infrastructure teams.
• Integrate development driven by generative artificial intelligence into the development cycle.
• Improve documentation and architecture diagrams to include resilience and stability aspects.
• Automate it tasks to reduce the risk of human error.
• Support teams following major incidents and help implement key stability indicators.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and several years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in large-scale complex systems design and multi-system environments.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services (development, deployment, automation and operations), including AWS stockpile, and knowledge of cloud security practises.
• Development experience driven by generative artificial intelligence and mastery of tools such as GitHub Copilot and VS Code.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk) and solid DevSecOps and observability skills.
• Ability to explain and transfer technical knowledge, collaborative spirit, technical leadership, ability to solve complex problems, innovative skills and technological curiosity.

Languages required

Spoken and written in English and French.
