Our client, a growing apparel and production company based in Mississauga, is seeking a Graphic Production Designer to join their creative and production team. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, preparing artwork and production files that bring apparel designs to life.

Job Overview
The Graphic Production Designer will support the end-to-end design-to-print process, preparing and organizing artwork files for apparel and screen-printing production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven setting with both creative and hands-on production responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, layer, and format artwork files for screen printing and apparel production
  • Ensure all artwork meets technical requirements, sizing, and production standards
  • Create and prepare stencils, screens, and print-ready assets for production use
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
  • Perform light hands-on production work (approximately 10% of the role)
  • Maintain organized file systems and ensure consistency across all design deliverables

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in graphic or production design, ideally within apparel or screen-printing environments
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience working in pre-production or print setup roles, preparing artwork for print
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Reliable, collaborative, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • A practical mindset with a willingness to assist on hands-on production tasks as needed
  • Knowledge of print processes, color separation, and production workflows is an asset
  • Based in Mississauga, with on-site collaboration required
