Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a DZ Licensed Driver with a minimum of 3 years of waste collection experience. The position is located in Scarborough, ON. The DZ Licensed Driver will be responsible for operating waste collection vehicles, maintaining compliance with safety guidelines, handling the transportation of waste and recyclables, ensuring timely collection schedules, and performing routine vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

  • Valid DZ driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience in waste collection
  • Knowledge of waste management processes and best practices
  • Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance checks on waste collection vehicles
  • Strong adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Excellent time management and reliable work ethic
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus
