Job Description
The VP Enterprise Portfolio Enablement works strategically at an enterprise level with senior technical and business leaders and stakeholders across the company to enable business outcomes. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration at all levels, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build & execute against our integrated technical roadmap. This position leads strategic thought leadership, business planning leadership, operational rigor, participates in overall strategy discussions, leads key strategic initiatives, and facilitates execution of projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Develops, maintains, and optimizes the strategic business technology roadmap for the organization in collaboration with other senior leaders based on organizational direction and strategy

• Leads the organization in the development of new strategies to optimize the way we work between business, product and technology in order to improve value realization

• Develops and implements appropriate agile value realization and delivery governance processes, including efficient engagement models, planning and prioritization processes.

• Provides thought leadership in portfolio planning and efficiency improvements

• Partners with Finance to develop an annual Technology operating and investment plan including funding envelopes for the organization that will meet current and future business goals

• Leads the financial reporting, forecasting and optimization of technology spend by collaborating with senior leaders within the organization, and in close partnership with Finance leaders

• Develops and manages dashboards and analytics to monitor team performance indicators and help drive accountability and priorities

• Reviews current processes across demand management, EPMO and ITS financial management and establishes a portfolio driven IT management framework to manage ITS as a business

• Develops and implements an insight driven framework built on the premise of 'Balanced Scorecard' across metrics, dashboards to demonstrate business problems, solutions, benefits and accurate decisions

• Facilitates review and approval of technology policies and standards

• Conducts business service reviews with IT functional leaders to identify areas of improvement and establish plans for continuous improvement

• Leads the PMO team to ensure timely execution and delivery of Initiatives while implementing best in class project management & Agile concepts and processes to improve efficiency

• Manages and oversees cross-functional projects and initiatives related to product/technology exploration and acceleration while ensuring technology effectiveness across business units

• Develops and maintains the Agile operating model, including objectives and key results (OKRs) and critical metrics

• Matures the Agile mindset and capability of the organization by mobilizing and expanding the Agile operating model, delivering plans for Agile upskilling and adoption, as well as capability roadmaps for the teams

• Ensures communication and alignment across different business units as related to product and technology delivery

• Acts as a trusted advisor and builds and maintains relationships with other leaders and executives to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensures cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and can respond with agility to changing industry priorities

• Acts as a change agent and ensure best practices and improvements through the product lifecycle

• Develops and manages both internal and external CTIO Office communications in a way that demonstrates a deep understanding of message content and impact on the intended audience

• Collaborates with the CTIO to set the mission and vision for the department to foster a business-first service oriented high-performance culture

• Works with Equity & People team and the IT leadership team to develop a people strategy that aligns with the enterprise and IT strategy; champions people initiatives in partnership with Equity & People; oversees the CTIO office planning process from an operational and staffing perspective

• Forecasts future skill needs to acquire and develop an IT workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies that balance between growing the agility required to achieve digital business objectives while continuing to deliver an impeccable end-user experience

• Develops and institutionalizes Service Level Agreements (SLA) for both internal services provided to field and for external services consumed

• Optimizes efficiency across the organization by setting up and Sets up and leading a cross functional CoE for digitization and automation, including progress tracking, with the objective of removing barriers to work

• Manages the IT Vendor Management function including assessing, onboarding, managing and reporting on vendor performance, while fostering relationships with internal partners

Qualifications

• Completion of a university degree in the field of business, project management or equivalent

• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology, project management or business-related roles ideally in a financial or banking environment

• Advanced experience in Agile /project/program leadership including leading global, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization

• Advanced analytical thinking, analysis, problem solving skills, process orientation, and business acumen skills

• Advanced experience proposing, creating, and managing executive-level proposals and presentations

• Highly developed collaboration, relationship building, and communication skills

• Ability influence without authority and experience leading/navigating large cross-functional teams

• Advanced ability to work with/influence across all levels and functions within the organization to achieve actionable results through others

• Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail and quality of deliverables; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities (both long and short term) simultaneously

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills, and group facilitation

• Ability to communicate complex or abstract ideas clearly and succinctly

• Successful track record in Agile leadership / Scrum / Kanban

• Advanced project, program and portfolio management, organizational, planning and coordination skills

• Advanced experience developing business / IT strategy, roadmap and managing to an annual operating plan

• Comprehensive experience managing complex budgets, analytics, forecasting, and other financials

• Demonstrable experience building and forming functional teams with strong leadership skills

• Working knowledge of analytical skills, metrics and measurements

• Advanced experience in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex, hyper growth and dynamic environments
