Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, ETL Developer

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop ETL Processes. Design, develop and maintain high-performance ETL processes using Informatica, ensuring optimal data transformation and loading procedures.
• Use strong .NET development skills to develop and maintain multiple applications.
• Optimize performance. Identify bottlenecks in ETL processes. Apply your expertise in Informatica transformations and SQL queries for maximum performance and responsiveness.
• Optimize database schemas. Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Error handling and monitoring. Implement robust error handling mechanisms in both Informatica and .NET environments to maintain system reliability.
• Testing. Use unit and integration testing to ensure delivery of robust and effective solutions.
• Documentation and Best Practices. Document ETL processes, data mappings and integrations thoroughly. Share your knowledge of best practices in Informatica and .NET to enhance team proficiency.
• Work Collaboratively. Work as a liaison between the business and development team in all phases of development from solution definition to deployment.
• Maintain coding standards. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of ETL and coding standards.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/MCA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• ETL - Informatica
• SQL using Sybase or other commercial relational databases.
• .NET technologies, including C#, .NET Framework 4.0 or above, MVC, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core.
• Experience in creating and maintaining Autosys jobs.
• Unix/Linux programming - Perl, shell, Python
• HTML5 technologies Angular, Typescript, Javascript, Json, CSS.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field required
• Relevant experience with SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Self-driven, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Understanding of OOO, design patterns, automated testing, CI/CD.
• Technical understanding of web and other multi-tiered, distributed applications / systems
