Intermediate Data Warehouse Development Consultant

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis, programming, testing, and production deployment tasks for the maintenance and improvement of data warehouse components.
  • Ensure proper operation of ETL processes for refreshing informational data, including:
  • Developing or adjusting components identified as problematic;
  • Optimizing components to improve execution performance;
  • Responding to business domain experts' inquiries when issues arise.
  • Design and build control mechanisms to ensure data quality, in collaboration with the architecture consultant.
  • Analyze and design data integration processes.
  • Write functional and technical specifications related to data processing.
  • Prepare and execute test scenarios to ensure proper component functionality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, determine execution strategies, identify impacts, and define timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in information technology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Business Intelligence developer.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with one or more SAP data warehouse tools such as: SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP DATASPHERE.
  • Completed at least one (1) mandate of 40 person-days involving the development of ABAP routines or AMDP Script Hana.
  • Experience in supply management, inventory, and logistics flows.
