Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at Wellness Haus, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and helping clients achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals. We are seeking candidates with a unique blend of aesthetics and nutrition experience to enhance our holistic approach to patient care. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing your expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Join us in delivering comprehensive and personalized care that promotes both beauty and overall health. This role is a part-time and in-clinic role working a mix of occasional weekdays or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Patient Consultations and Assessments
  : Conduct thorough consultations and assessments to determine the best course of treatment tailored to each client's individual needs.
• Health Status Documentation:
  Assess and document patient health status and needs accurately.
• Care Plan Development
  : Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
• Medication and Treatment Administration
  : Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Patient and Family Education
  : Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and overall wellness.
• Non-Surgical Aesthetic Procedures
  : Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including Botox injections, dermal filler injections, and laser treatments, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Nutrition Coaching
  : Conduct personalized nutrition coaching and weight loss check-ins to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
• Weight Loss Program Management
  : Monitor weight loss program patients, offering ongoing support and adjustments as needed.
• Record Maintenance
  : Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMRs) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Team Collaboration
  : Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurse practitioners, to ensure continuity of care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Quality Improvement
  : Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date on best practices and clinical guidelines in aesthetics and nutrition.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on aesthetics and/or nutrition.
• Proven experience in performing non-surgical aesthetic procedures including Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatments.
• Experience in nutrition or wellness coaching and weight loss program management is desirable.
• Completion of college, or other approved registered nursing program.
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and in good standing as an RN or RPN.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and consultation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration.
