Responsibilities:
  • Create and send invoices and statements; track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Validate, enter, and process vendor invoices; prepare vendor payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and vendor records in the ERP system.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with general bookkeeping duties.
  • Prepare reports, including expense reports and basic financial summaries.
  • Support payroll processing and government tax payments.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial preparations.
  • Respond to client and vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Provide backup support for other accounting team members.
  • Perform general office administration, filing, and reception coverage as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Diploma in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical, administrative, or accounting-related roles.
  • Previous experience in general accounting, invoicing, or payroll is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with QuickBooks and 4Castplus is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
