Job Description
RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Dr. Thomas Mavrakanas, the incumbent will provide administrative support to the nephrology research team.

General Duties

  • Collects clinical data, as well as patient information,
  • Conducts and/or verifies study questionnaires,
  • Performs data entry as required by the protocol,
  • Assists following up with the data queries and resolution,
  • Ensures compliance with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies,
  • Identifies problems and/or inconsistencies and provide solutions,
  • Remits weekly updates to his immediate supervisor on the status of the data entry for all studies,
  • Assists in packaging and mailing of study documents,
  • Is responsible for sending monthly invoices for project management and data management,
  • Verify accounts for receivables and follow-up on outstanding invoices,
  • Accomplishes administrative tasks as required (i.e. scheduling meetings, payment requisitions, etc.),
  • Helps in formatting study documents,
  • Performs any other tasks as required by the immediate superior or delegate

Education: High School Education

Work Experience: 6 months an asset.

Required Skills

  • Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.

Pay Scale
: Commensurate with education & work experience. $19.22-$28.82/h

Work Shift
: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

: MGH, 1650 Cedar Ave.
