Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for a Administrative Clerk at our Anjou manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for reception, customer service, A/P, and variety of different clerical duties.
Your additional responsibilities as Administrative Clerk will include:
- Reception duties, greeting visitors, job applicants, vendors/customers
- Answering incoming phone calls, and forwarding to the appropriate contact
- Accountable for processing various high volume customer orders, while updating their status as required
- Provide frontline customer service to customers, vendors and suppliers
- Run daily reports, processing customer invoices and matching all related backup documents
- Setup or receive courier shipments, process inbound/outbound mail
- Communicate and work with other managers/supervisors to ensure administrative objectives are met consistently
- Perform other clerical backup and other duties as required
Skills and Requirements
- 2-5 years' experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Some customer service experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
- Entry level or junior office experience
- Strong communication, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize, adapt, while meeting tight timelines
- Secondary School/College education
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of SAP would be a definite asset
