Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to promote a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with a Reggio Emilia inspired program.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
  • Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative learning experiences.
  • Use computer operation skills to manage classroom resources and maintain student records.

Experience

  • A valid Early Childhood Educator BC certificate.
  • Experience working in a infant and/or toddler classroom
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • A genuine passion for educating young learners and supporting their growth and development.

Wage

  • Posted wage is the base wage for Early Childhood Educators
  • Government Wage Enhancement is additional to the base wage
